PRE-SALE TRANSPORT
Volunteer members pick up plants for transport the following morning at 7:30 am to the site in Waitsfield and set up venue.

Location: Waitsfield, across from Shaw’s Market
First Shift 8:45-11:15am
Second Shift 11:00am-1:30pm

ANNUAL GARDEN PARTY LUNCHEON

Visit to Lincoln Hill Botanical Garden
Location: 2800 Lincoln Hill Road Hinesburg VT
Led by Paul Wieczoredk, Proprietor/Head Gardener
Lincoln Hill Botanical Garden contains roughly 2 acres and an
additional “unattended arboretum” – a place to walk among a
collection of unusual deciduous trees, shrubs and conifers. Other
collections include over 150 species of rhododendrons, rock and
alpine gardens, a stream garden and a formal garden. The
American Horticultural Society calls it a “must visit.”
Bring your own snack.

August 11th

We will visit Alyssa White’s garden.

BIRD WALK
Location: Big Picture parking lot
Mad River resident will lead us on a guided bird
walk. (Hard rain cancels but drizzles won’t keep us away.)

October 14 th
Tuesday at 1:00 pm
Cold Hollow Cider Mill
Location: 3600 Waterbury-Stowe Road, Waterbury Center
We will have a guided tour of the Mill with time to tour the shop
and enjoy a bite in the cafe. Look for their “legendary” cider
donuts which are made daily.

November 10th
Tuesday 12:00 pm
FLORAL ARRANGEMENT WORKSHOP
Judy Reed will once again share her floral arrangement
techniques with us. Please bring a vase or container.
