Led by Sarah Slanting of Full Circle Gardens
Location: Warren Public Library
Water wise practices and perennial varieties to keep your
garden gorgeous during droughts.

FLOWER ARRANGING WORKSHOP
Led by: Nina Towne of Proud Flowers
Location: Warren Public Library
Nina will bring her years of flower design expertise to us
first with a presentation about form, design, and currant
trends in arranging. Then we will all delve into creating
our own arrangements with Nina here for consultation.

PLANT SALE WORKSHOP
Location: Warren Public Library
In preparation for our May potting sessions, we will have a
workshop about dividing and planting protocols.

PRE-SALE TRANSPORT
Volunteer members pick up plants for transport the
following morning at 7:30 am to the site in Waitsfield
and set up venue.

June 7 PLANT SALE DAY
Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Location: Waitsfield, across from Shaw’s Market
First Shift 8:45-11:15am
Second Shift 11:00am-1:30pm

ANNUAL GARDEN PARTY LUNCHEON
Location: Julie Murray’s home

Visit to Shelburne Inn Gardens
Location: Shelburne Farms Inn, Shelburne VT
We will join together for a guided tour of the gardens at
the Inn.

August 12
Tuesday at 1:00 pm
ST. GAUDENS
Location: St. Gauden’s Road, Cornish, New Hampshire
This National Park for the Arts preserves the home, gardens,
and studio of sculpture Augustus Saint-Gaudens. (1848-1907)
Our tour will include a peaceful walk through the gardens,
commentary about the sculptures, and a visit to his home. Bill
Noble (our trip on August 13th 2024) refurbished the onehundred
year old hedges, instituted organic lawn care
practices, and returned the artist’s intent to the exuberant
flower gardens.

September 9th

MOUNTAIN GARDENERS’ TEACUP AUCTION
Location: Warren Town Hall
Bring a plant, tool, garden ornament, or any garden
related treasure to contribute to the auction. This is a
perfect venue for recycling and finding
something you need or want.

October 14

ORGANIC GARDENING PEST
CONTROL
Led by Charlie Nardozzi
Location: Warren Town Hall Basement
Be ready to learn and laugh with Charlie as he talks about all
things “PEST” related in our gardens.
Coordinators: Trish DeMiglio, Kristen Gibson, Julie Murray

November 11th
Tuesday 1:00 pm
PAPERWHITE WORKSHOP
Location: Warren Public Library
Bring your own container (high sides work best) to create a
paper white garden.
Bulbs and gravel will be provided.
