Landscape Design Consultant and Educator Deborah Chud gives a thorough, informative and engaging presentation on her personal exploration into the aesthetics of Piet Oudolf’s theories.

Learn effective techniques to manage stormwater at home or at a community scale. Rachel Grigorian, Landscape Architect and owner of Clark Brook Designs, will show examples of her local projects that are making a positive impact on water quality through plants.

THE ECOLOGY OF TICKS AND TICK-BORNE
DISEASES
Led by: David Allen
Location: Warren Public Library
David Allen is an associate professor of biology at Middlebury College. He studies the ecological climate and landscape factors which determine tick-borne disease risk. David will give a brief introduction to tick biology and then discuss his research trying to understand what drives tick-borne disease risk in Vermont.

Noble has worked as a garden designer and Director of Preservation for the Garden Conservancy. The insights he gained from this work are reflected in his own garden. He is currently renovating his garden and will show us why and how he is making changes.

Tobi will welcome us into his Anemone Greenhouse to talk about the propagation of these beauties. He will describe planting his own seeds, which he hybridizes for plant vigor, flower formation, color and stem length to the growing and harvesting of the blooms.
